تَاءُ التَّأنِيثِ Ta Altaanith

تاءُ التأنيثِ
ta’ altaanith with alfi’el almadi

It only comes with alfi’el al madi when the subject is feminine

Example:

قرأ + ت
قَرَأَتْ سَارَة القِصَّة
Sarah read the story

شاهد + ت
شَاهَدَتْ أُمِّي التِّلِفَازَ
Mother watched television

(تْ)
ta’ altaanith usually is sakenah
that is, it has a sukun on top of its letter to denote that it is a feminine past tense verb

NOTE:
But if a consonant comes after ta altaanith we put a kasrah under the ta’ altaanith, for ease of pronunciation
